Create a Lorry Receipt online — three copies, one click
Pick the party and the GSTIN, address and credit terms fill themselves in. LR numbers run in sequence, and all three copies print or go on WhatsApp.
A handwritten bilty takes ten to fifteen minutes. The party's name, address and GSTIN get copied out again every single time. One wrong digit and the bill sits unpaid.
In TransportMaster, creating the trip creates the bilty.
What a trip needs
Party — start typing and it appears. Pick it and the GSTIN, address and credit terms fill themselves in.
Route — from and to. City names suggest as you type.
Truck — pick the number and the driver and supplier come with it.
Goods — description, packages, weight.
Freight — what the party pays, what the truck owner gets, and your commission.
Save, and the LR number is assigned — in sequence, never repeated.
Three copies
All three print together. Or send the PDF on WhatsApp, which is what most people do now.
Your logo and signature
Upload the logo once in your profile. It prints on every bilty and invoice after that.
You can upload a signature too, so each copy does not have to be signed by hand.
No more LR number worries
A paper register has three failure modes — the same number used twice, a number missing in the middle, or two people writing from separate registers.
Here the number is assigned automatically. The sequence cannot break.
The prefix is yours to set — `LR`, `TM-26`, whatever you use.
When a trip is cancelled
The number is not skipped. Cancel the trip and it stays on record. If an audit asks what happened to 147, the answer is there.
Proof of delivery
After delivery, upload a photo of the signed POD to the same trip. Paper gets lost. A photo does not.
Trips still waiting on a POD show in their own list, so none of them are forgotten.
What it does not do
Straight answer — it does not generate e-way bills. That happens on the government portal. You can record the e-way bill number against the trip so everything sits together, but it is created there.
