Bilty / LR software
Three copies, one click. Your number series, your format, your logo.
What goes wrong with a handwritten bilty
The bilty book runs out. The handwriting is hard to read. The carbon copy comes out faint. The same number gets used twice. And when a party holds back payment, half a day goes in finding the right bilty.
What changes with software
- Enter the trip and the bilty is ready — consignor, consignee and office copies
- Numbers follow your own series — start at GR-4501 and it continues from there
- Your logo and signature on every copy
- Send the PDF straight on WhatsApp, or print it
- Find any old bilty instantly by LR number or party name
- E-way bill number, invoice value, material and weight — all on one document
You can design your own format
Every transport company has its own printed format. So in Print & PDF Design you can change the bilty layout yourself — which field sits where, what the colours are, where the bank details and signature go. If you do not create a design, the bilty keeps printing exactly as it does today.
The rest of the accounting comes with it
A bilty is not a separate thing — it is part of a trip. So the moment a bilty is made, the party ledger, the supplier hire, the driver advance and the vehicle record are all updated with it. Nothing has to be written twice.
Frequently asked questions
Can I keep my existing bilty number series?
Yes. Set your prefix and starting number in Settings and the software continues from there. If your book ended at GR-4500, the next bilty will be GR-4501.
Do the three copies carry different labels?
Yes — Consignor Copy, Consignee Copy and Office Copy are each labelled, and all three print together.
Can a bilty be sent on WhatsApp?
Yes. A PDF is generated, and also a link the party can open on their own phone.
Can the bilty format be changed?
Yes. Print & PDF Design lets you set the fields, colours, logo, bank details and signature the way you want them.
What if there is no internet?
Creating a bilty needs internet, but a bilty already made stays as a PDF on your phone — and the printed copy is always with you.
