Party and supplier ledgers

Who owes you, and whom you owe — in one look, every morning.

Why a diary stops adding up

The same entry gets written in two places. One payment is missed. Nobody remembers which month the old balance came from. And when a party says "but we already paid that", there is nothing to show.

Here the ledger builds itself

The oldest money shows up first

The ledger does not just show amounts — it shows age. Each entry carries how many days old the bill is, and anything past 30 days is coloured differently, so the first call goes to the right person.

Driver accounts are here too

Advances given to a driver, their expenses and the deductions made all sit in one account. At month end it is clear exactly how much is still owed either way.

Frequently asked questions

How do I enter old outstanding amounts?

When you create a party or supplier, put the old balance in the "Opening Balance" field. Everything after that builds on top of it.

Can I send a statement to a party?

Yes. Choose a date range and a statement PDF is generated — email it, or send a link on WhatsApp.

What if the same firm is both a customer and a supplier?

Both sides are shown separately along with the net position. Party and supplier accounts are kept apart, so nothing gets mixed up.

Can I record cash, bank and UPI payments?

Yes. The payment method and date are both recorded, and bank accounts are tracked separately as well.
